Are You Borderline Androgen Deficient?

Thanks for tuning in.

I’ve spent the better part of 10 years on a personal quest to understand and reverse Borderline Androgen Deficiency in my own life. I know how it feels. I understand the root causes of Borderline Androgen Deficiency and I have discovered a number of tricks, hacks and processes that can help turn it around.

First, let me tell you bit about myself. My name is Ron and I am a BAD Dude. I am not a doctor. In fact, I was a one-eyed, rum chugging pirate king in a past life. Those days are mostly behind me. (Except for the occasional “Men’s Retreat” or trip to Vegas.)

I was 39 years old and pretty much had life beat. I owned a successful company, was in great physical shape and had perfected the art of bachelorhood. Then life happened. I met the girl of my dreams. We started to travel. We went to Napa and Argentina and learned about great wine. I read “The Art of French Cooking” and learned to cook. My previously spartan lifestyle quickly turned into a nightly bacchanalia. But who cares when love is in the air, right? Needless to say, those 4:30 am trips to the gym became fewer and fewer.

We married and soon we were expecting our first child. The house that had been so comfortable for me, was no longer appropriate. It was time to sell the convertible and get a sensible family car. Oh, and collage, not to mention private school would be expensive, so time to ratchet up the income. I’m not complaining, it’s life. I’ve loved every moment of it.

At this point you can probably tell where this is heading. Rich diet, lack of exercise, over consumption of alcohol, poor sleep, stress and, oh ya, I’m over 40 by this time. I’m starting to gain weight and I feel like shit. Luckily, a friend referred me to a mens health doctor who ran a battery of tests. The results were not pretty (but they are pretty much typical of guys our age.) My lipids and cholesterol were high, my glucose and blood pressure were approaching dangerous levels and my testosterone was 128. Hell, I was almost lactating. Among other things I was offered testosterone therapy. However, I was just starting a family. I did not like the prospect of becoming sterile. I also had no interest in a lifetime of medication, and this is where the quest began.

My personal mission statement reads: Seeker of Wisdom, Shepherd to Flock, Champion of Self Reliance. In a nutshell, that’s kind of what this blog is about. I plan to share with you some of the wisdom I have gained related to health and longevity. I hope to include you in my flock , however in this case I might refer to it as a pride, a pack or maybe even a herd. Finally, I am a champion of self reliance and I hope that you are too. Much of what interests me is how I can create wealth, health, longevity, success and happiness through my own actions with as little collateral damage as possible. I will focus on this piece quite a bit as i think it is integral to being a BAD Dude.

What you can expect from me: I’m going to share what I read; how I eat; the bio markers I follow and why; any new research I find interesting; and links to guys I follow. From time to time I will will refer to my company Abbey Research Ltd and our product Stronvivo. Stronvivo is a pharmaceutical grade supplement designed and proven to reverse the symptoms of Borderline Androgen Deficiency. I’m not going to beat you up with it because it’s not the only thing that works. I do believe it should be a part of the toolkit.

What I expect from you: If your not picking up what I’m laying down, bail. Super simple. If your digging it, let me know. I’d love to hear from you. Let me know what you'd like to hear more of, like to hear less of or where you think I’m off base. Remember, this is my journey too, and I as I said, I am a seeker of wisdom. I’d love to hear where your journey has taken you. Finally, while this is a male subject and most readers will probably be men, lets act like Men. Let’s keep it between the lines, let’s be civil. Critical is fine, but if your a dick, I’ll delete your stuff. Please do not put your URL in the comment text and please use your PERSONAL name or initials and not your business name, as the latter comes off like spam. Have fun and thanks for adding to the conversation!
